Description: The club literacy motto for the last five years has been “Read to Succeed, Comprehension Counts.” In 2004-2005 fourteen Nevada Rotarians read 28 hours to Central Pre-K – 3rd grade students and left the books they read with the class. The club spends about $500 annually on books for children. In 2007, the club initiated a reading program to elementary students.
