Let’s learn together and celebrate making a difference in the lives of young children. Read With Me Day 2006 – Young Professionals of Ames This has become a signature event for YPA. This year more than 60 YPA volunteers read to over 475 kindergartners over a three-day period. Each child that participated in the event received a book to encourage reading outside the classroom.            Austin Woodin (Edward Jones Investments), David Orth (Special Olympics Iowa), and Geogina Schwery (U.S. Bank) enjoyed some time with kindergarteners at Willson-Beardshear School for YPA’s Read With Me Day.
