Club
Goals for 2004-2005
Our Club
|
1.
|
Membership will continue
to be a focus, and although we achieved a "fastest growing"
certification at the recent District convention, resignations
have again taken their toll, and we need to have continued emphasis
on identification of potential members. Members are encouraged
to use your "Be My Guest" cards. |
|
2.
|
Family involvement - we
will seek opportunities to share our club experience with spouses
and children. |
Our Vocations
|
1.
|
Meetings at workplaces are
a great way to build understanding of commerce in our community. |
|
2.
|
The club will host a forum
on ethics and application of the Four-Way test in business. |
|
3.
|
We will seek to expand literacy
efforts into workplaces. |
Our Community
|
1.
|
Participate in
Rotary's centennial celebration. Planning is underway to jointly
commemorate the 100th anniversary with the clubs from Nevada,
Boone and Ames Noon. |
|
2.
|
Communicate the completion
of our centennial community project, the overlook at Ada Hayden
Park. |
|
3.
|
We'll continue to build
and encourage participation in service projects throughout our
community. |
Our World
|
1.
|
We can make our efforts
felt worldwide through support of the Rotary Foundation. We're
proud of our designation as a Centurion Club with an average
annual gift of over $100 per member. We will participate in
the Every Rotarian, Every Year programming. |
|
2.
|
We will encourage club member
participation in the Rotary International Convention in Chicago.
