Family of Rotary

Establish Family of Rotary Committee |

Invite Rotarians' families to join in projects, e.g., attend meetings, Mortenson cleanup, picnic, Valentine's dinner, etc. |

Formal orientation and training for new members. All new members are assigned to a committee and asked to do at least one task for Rotary in the first two months of membership. |

Three new members by April 1, 2004. I.e., exceed the Rotary International goal. |

Polio Eradication. Continue support and recognize members for participation.. |

Encourage members to serve on committees and their place of employment. List committees where members serve. |

Teacher of the Year Award for Ames, Gilbert, and Story City schools. |

Give all new members copy of 200-EN. Declaration of Rotarians in Businesses and Professions. |
Our Community

Project to feed hungry. Continue our involvement in serving meals at Ames Emergency Shelter Services. |

Rotary Centennial Project at Ada Hayden Park. Fishing piers and benches. |

Continue our club emphasis on promoting literacy. |

Century Club, $100/member/year. |
